War and Peace
The Three kingdoms; a time of conflict in China. Where many seek to fulfill their own objectives, others unite to confront a power much greater then them if they were to fight on their own individual power. The time of the three kingdoms had one very strong theme that occurs throughout this period of time. That is War and peace.
How does The three kingdoms relate to 'war and peace'? The three kingdoms held many figures that were capable in their own ways, many sought to re-unite China under their own name, which can be seen as all factions sought a peace, from which they were ambitious to make.
Though with so many factions that were ambitious to create peace, it is evident that their motives will collide; leading to conflict which ultimately leads to war within China. It is seen that many people, such as 'Liu Bei' and 'Cao Cao'. These two are well known for their motives, as they both sought to reunite china. Other figures such as 'Dong Zhuo' came into power with their own ambitions to cause more destruction to China.
During this time their were many motives. From a glance it is evident that their are many patriotic aspects in the motives of the few. Though from studying other figures, greed and the lust for power had also given the drive to others that were ambitious to gain control of China for their own individual benefit.
